Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal information is involved when you use this store, why it is processed, who it is shared with, and how to reach us about it. It describes how the storefront actually works today and is updated when that changes.

Last updated September 28, 2026

Who this applies to

This notice covers the PEZZO storefront and orders placed through it. The store is operated from Israel. The storefront currently serves customers in the United States, with prices presented in USD.

Checkout, payment and order records run on Shopify, which provides the commerce platform for this store. Shopify and the payment providers available at checkout also handle information under their own terms and notices. We remain responsible for what we ask for and what we do with it.

Information involved

Depending on what you do, the following categories can be involved:

  • Contact and delivery details — name, email address, shipping and billing address, and a phone number if you provide one at checkout.
  • Order details — items ordered, quantities, the bracelet build or set an item belongs to, order value, order status, and fulfillment and delivery information.
  • Payment confirmation — we receive confirmation that payment succeeded and limited details such as the payment method type. Card numbers are entered on Shopify's checkout and handled by Shopify and the payment provider. This storefront's code never receives your full card credentials.
  • Support messages — what you send us and our replies.
  • Technical data — information your browser and device necessarily send when loading pages, such as IP address, browser and device type, and the pages requested, processed by us and by Shopify as part of operating and securing the store.
  • Marketing preferences — only where you actively ask to hear from us.

Shopify's role

This store is powered by Shopify. Shopify hosts the catalog, the cart handoff, checkout, payment and order records, and it processes personal information as part of providing that service to us — including information about your interactions with the store, and technical and security data such as your IP address, device and the pages you request.

Shopify also uses information from interactions with Shopify-powered stores and services to provide, secure and improve its own services, including its enhanced and fraud- and risk-related services where those are switched on for a store. Those services are enabled for this store. That processing is governed by Shopify's own privacy terms and settings rather than by us, and Shopify — not PEZZO — decides how it operates.

Shopify's automated privacy features, including its cookie-banner and data-sharing opt-out handling, are switched on for this store, so on Shopify-hosted surfaces such as checkout you may also see Shopify's own consent and opt-out controls. Those controls are separate from the ones on these pages, and both are honored.

Cookies and browser storage

This storefront keeps things deliberately minimal, and it separates the storage that makes shopping work from anything optional. Essential storage for the bag, security and checkout is used because the store cannot function without it; optional tracking is only ever used with your permission. What is in use today:

Essential storage, which keeps the store working and is separate from any optional tracking: your bag is kept in your browser's local storage so it survives a page reload, holding the items you selected and the identifiers of the bracelet builds they belong to.

If you arrive from a campaign link, the campaign labels in that link (for example utm_source or a click id) are kept in your browser so we can tell which campaigns bring people to the store. They are stored as plain campaign labels and are not used to identify you.

Your answer about optional tracking is stored in your browser so we do not ask again, and the same answer is recorded with Shopify through its Customer Privacy API so this storefront and Shopify hold one consistent choice rather than two contradictory ones.

Shopify sets its own cookies for store security, sessions, fraud prevention and its consent handling, and on its hosted checkout. Those are Shopify's cookies, governed by Shopify's own terms and settings.

Optional, privacy-limited analytics are configured on this storefront through Google Analytics 4. It is switched off by default and only loads after you choose “Allow optional tracking”. If you choose “Essential only”, or make no choice, no Google Analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set by this storefront. This applies to every visitor, in every region. We do not send your name, email address, phone number or address to Google Analytics, and this storefront does not use it for advertising personalization. This storefront uses it only for activity before checkout; any measurement on Shopify-hosted checkout is controlled by Shopify and the integrations configured there. You can change your choice at any time with the “Privacy choices” link in the footer.

Advertising measurement: the Meta Pixel is configured on this storefront for Facebook and Instagram advertising. It is off by default and loads only after you choose “Allow optional tracking”. It receives page views, the products you view and items you add to your bag (product IDs, names, prices in USD), plus Meta's own cookies and device/browser data, so we can measure and optimize our ads. It never loads if you choose “Essential only” or make no choice. This storefront sends only activity before checkout; any checkout or purchase measurement on Shopify-hosted checkout is controlled by Shopify and the integrations configured there, and we do not claim here that a particular checkout integration is active. We do not send your name, email, phone or address from this storefront. You can withdraw at any time with the “Privacy choices” link in the footer, and you can also manage ad preferences in your Meta account settings.

Your privacy choices on this store

When we ask about optional tracking, you get two equally simple options: “Allow optional tracking” or “Essential only”. Neither one blocks shopping — browsing, the bag and checkout work the same either way.

Your answer is stored in your browser and recorded with Shopify through its Customer Privacy API, so the storefront and the platform behind it hold the same choice. If you allow optional tracking, that permission is passed on to Shopify as well. If you choose “Essential only”, optional tracking stays off.

Every visitor is asked, wherever they are. Until you choose “Allow optional tracking”, optional analytics and advertising measurement stay off — making no choice counts the same as “Essential only”. A refusal you have already recorded with Shopify is respected here too.

You can revisit or change your answer at any time using the “Privacy choices” link in the footer of every page. It reopens the same panel, and a new answer replaces the old one immediately.

Data sharing and opt-out

We do not sell personal information for money. With your permission, this storefront loads the consent-gated analytics and advertising measurement tools described above. We cannot describe Shopify's platform-level processing as “no sharing at all”: some of Shopify's services, including its fraud, risk and enhanced service features enabled for this store, involve Shopify using interaction data across Shopify-powered stores, and depending on where you live that may fall within what your law calls “sharing” or “sale”.

Which opt-out rights you have, and how they work, depend on the law that applies to you — they are not the same for every visitor. Where an opt-out applies to Shopify's processing, Shopify's own privacy choices portal is the place to exercise it, and the data-sharing opt-out feature is enabled for this store. For anything we control, write to us and we will act on it as applicable law requires. Where Shopify reports a data-sale/sharing opt-out for your browser — including one signalled by Global Privacy Control — PEZZO keeps its optional analytics and advertising measurement off, even if you previously allowed optional tracking on this site. The “Privacy choices” link in the footer stays available so you can review or change your choice at any time.

Privacy requests can be sent to pezzoitaliancharm@pezzoitalia.com. Please describe what you are asking for, and do not include payment card details or passwords in your message.

Why it is processed

  • To take, process, fulfill and deliver your order, including changes, cancellations and refunds.
  • To run checkout and payment, and to confirm payment.
  • To answer your questions and provide support.
  • To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents.
  • To operate, maintain, secure and improve the store.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to handle disputes.
  • For marketing, only where you have actively asked for it and a marketing channel is actually active.

Who it is shared with

We share personal information with providers that need it to run the store and complete your order:

  • Shopify, as the commerce and checkout platform, which also processes information for its own service, security and improvement purposes as described above.
  • Google Analytics 4, for consent-gated measurement of activity before checkout.
  • Meta, for consent-gated measurement of page views, product views and additions to your bag before checkout.
  • The payment provider used for your order, to process and confirm payment.
  • Fulfillment and shipping providers, to pack and deliver your order.
  • Technical providers such as hosting and email delivery.
  • Advisers, and authorities, where we are legally required or permitted to disclose information.

International processing

Our providers, Shopify included, operate internationally, so personal information may be processed in countries other than the one you live in. Where transfer safeguards apply, we rely on the mechanisms and contractual terms those providers put in place. We do not claim a specific transfer mechanism we have not verified ourselves.

How long it is kept

Personal information is kept for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for — the life of your order and any related support — and after that for as long as records must be kept for tax, accounting, dispute or fraud-prevention reasons. When information is no longer needed for any of those purposes, it is deleted or anonymized. We do not publish a fixed retention period we have not verified.

Your rights

Subject to the law that applies to you, you may be able to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, a copy of it, correction of it, deletion of it, or restriction of or objection to certain processing, and to withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Which of these apply, and any conditions or exceptions, depend on applicable law.

Privacy requests can be sent to pezzoitaliancharm@pezzoitalia.com. Please describe what you are asking for, and do not include payment card details or passwords in your message.

We may need to verify who you are before acting on a request, and some information may have to be kept where the law requires it.

Children

This store is aimed at adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly ask children for personal information beyond what an order requires. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will look into it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, and rely on Shopify and the payment providers for checkout and payment security. No website or service can be completely secure, so we do not promise absolute security.

Changes

This notice is updated when the store or its providers change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last reviewed.
